Internship

This course will enroll up to eight selected undergraduate and graduate English majors, 1-2 Computer Science majors, 1-2 Graphic Design majors, and 1-2 Marketing majors of advanced standing to work on the Camden Online Poetry Project. Students will gain experience in editing literary magazines by reading manuscripts, promotional and grant writing, exploring related technological aspects, and producing and promoting public programs that focus on poetry.

Interested applicants should submit a brief cover letter (or print out and complete the form below), resume, grade transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable), a writing sample*, and two letters of recommendation. Recommendations can be e-mailed to volk@crab.rutgers.edu.

Application packages should be delivered to K. Volk Miller's mailbox in the English Dept. no later than May 30, 2005 (for interest in Fall, 2005).

*Graphic Design majors: please submit work samples.
*Computer Science majors: please submit a list of URL's of websites you've created, and/or a list of technological proficiencies.
*Marketing majors: please submit a list of related projects in which you've participated and/or related courses you've taken.
